This lot is produced by Luis Alberto in Nicaragua. He is one of the country's leading producers and a two-time winner of the Cup of Excellence.

Luis took over the long-standing exporter Las Segovias from his predecessor in Nueva Segovia, northern Nicaragua. Alongside managing the drying facility and export operations, he also owns several farms and is actively involved in coffee production himself.

Finca Lo Prometido is located on deep, sloping terrain in Mozonte, one of Nicaragua's most prestigious coffee-growing regions. Clear, pristine rivers flow between the mountains, allowing the coffee to thrive under the protection of the great outdoors. Following last year's introduction of his Pacamara variety, we are pleased to offer his Red Catuai this year.

Natural processing, where the fruit is sun-dried, is the cornerstone of this farm located on steep slopes and stands as a flagship practice. Thanks to Luis's exceptional skill, the coffee is clean and free of the heaviness often associated with natural processes.
