ABOUT

SHIKISHIMA COFFEE was founded in 2020 in Shikishima-cho, Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture.
We operate three stores in the city, each with a different concept based on how we interpret "everyday life" and the role of coffee within it. Our activities primarily include retail sales at our stores, wholesale to local and national businesses, and participation in various events.

■ FACTORY (Shikishima-cho, Maebashi City)
This is our flagship store, overseeing the roasting for all locations. With the theme "Rich Enjoyment in Everyday Life," we focus on creating an experience where daily life feels "rich" or "enjoyable" through coffee. Of course, the coffee consumed daily must be delicious, but we also prioritize finding discovery and excitement as a luxury item. We believe that knowledge and experience make every day and every life richer.

■ STAND (Chiyoda-cho, Maebashi City)
Born from a collaboration with our local credit union, Shinonome Shinkin Bank, and working hand-in-hand with FM Gunma, Gunma's flagship media, this store's mission is to contribute to fostering vibrancy as part of Maebashi City's urban design. Being a hub for the community is also an important factor for coffee culture.

■ COUNTER (Furuichi-cho, Maebashi City)
In 2025, our collaboration with local companies will further advance with the opening of this store on the 1st floor of the JOMO Square office building of Jomo Shimbun, located in Shin-Maebashi. It can also host large-scale seminars and competitions. We aim to cross the Tone River, further delve into fostering regional vibrancy, and explore the ideal relationship between local communities and coffee.

We are a coffee roaster that thrives with the community.
