ABOUT

SHIKISHIMA COFFEE was established in 2020 in Shikishima-cho, Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture. Based on our interpretation of the relationship between "daily life" and coffee, we operate three shops in the city, each with a different concept. Our primary activities include retail sales at our shops, wholesale to local and national businesses, and participation in various events.

■ FACTORY (Shikishima Park)

"Enriching your daily life with pleasure."

As our flagship store, this location oversees roasting for all our shops and features a siphon stand integrated with our roastery. We operate with a focus on how experiencing coffee can make daily life feel more "enriching" or "enjoyable." While the primary requirement is that the coffee you drink every day must be delicious, we also believe in the discovery and excitement it brings as a luxury item. We believe that knowledge and experience can make daily life and living more enriched.

"Connecting smiles to your daily life."

Born in 2022 through a partnership with the local Shinonome Shinkin Bank, this shop also collaborates with FM GUNMA, the prefecture's leading media outlet, with a mission to help revitalize Maebashi's urban landscape. We believe that serving as a hub for the local community is a vital role for coffee culture.

"Accompanying your daily moments."

Opened in 2025, this shop advances our partnerships with local companies further, located within "JOMO Square," a multi-purpose complex operated by the Jomo Shimbun newspaper in Shin-Maebashi. Beyond contributing to local vibrancy and providing daily coffee, we will work with JOMO Square to explore new forms of "coffee education" through large-scale seminars, workshops, and competitions.

Born in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture. After spending his high school years in central Maebashi, he moved to Tokyo to attend art college. Upon discovering specialty coffee, he launched his coffee business in his hometown of Maebashi while remaining active primarily in Tokyo. He operates three shops with different concepts centered on "daily life," dedicated to connecting, learning, and expanding the community through coffee.
