Of Mexico's 31 states, Chiapas is located in the southeastern part of the country, bordering Guatemala to the east, Veracruz, Oaxaca, and Tabasco to the north, and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
This decaffeinated coffee is made with fresh, high-altitude coffee beans, the highest quality in Mexico, that can withstand the decaffeinated process. Chiapas is located in an area blessed with abundant water resources, and the decaffeinated coffee is made without the use of any chemicals, using only clean glacial water from Mt. Orizaba (5,636m), the highest mountain in Mexico, which provides the majority of the water resources. The freshness of the coffee is protected through proper management and swift export procedures.
