The state of Chiapas is located in the southeastern part of Mexico, one of 31 states. It borders Guatemala to the east, the states of Veracruz, Oaxaca, and Tabasco to the north, and is bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the west.
This decaffeinated coffee is made using high-quality, fresh green coffee beans harvested at high altitudes—the best in Mexico—capable of withstanding the decaffeination process. Chiapas is blessed with abundant water resources, and the decaffeination is performed without the use of any chemicals, utilizing only pure water from glaciers atop Mount Orizaba (5,636m), the highest peak in Mexico. Careful management and prompt export procedures ensure the freshness of the coffee is preserved.
