■ INFORMATION

San Rafael Estate is nestled quietly in the rugged terrain of the Palermo Mountains in the province of Huila. The farm was founded by Don Joaquin Castaneda, and his eldest son of seven children, Gerald Castaneda, has been developing it further.
The fertile volcanic soil of the Palermo Mountains, the rainfall, and the pristine forests that provide shade, along with the unique climate specific to this area of the farm due to the surrounding topography, cultivate exceptional coffee cherries unlike any other.

Then, cherries that are perfectly ripe are picked, washed with the abundant natural water of Huila, and carefully sun-dried with meticulous care to avoid sudden temperature changes. This process produces a high-quality lot that shines even among the many famous farms of Huila.
