COLOMBIA | Esperanza Arias

■ FLAVOR COMMENT

The delicate flavors of muscat and Japanese citrus fruits such as yuzu and pomelo give the liquid a beautiful, clear appearance. The fruity notes of sweet apricot and white peach are accompanied by a pleasant aroma reminiscent of refined green tea and white flowers such as jasmine.

It has a gorgeous, smooth sweetness like honey, and as it cools it takes on a milky sweetness.
This is a Geisha variety that can be enjoyed daily, retaining the delicacy inherent to the variety while offering a smooth and soft texture.

■ FLAVOR NOTE

Muscat, Pomelo, Jasmine, White Peach

■ INFORMATION

This is a Geisha lot produced in the Los Andes region of Nariño Department in southern Colombia.
This lot was cultivated by Esperanza Arias at Finca La Esperanza, located at an altitude of 1,980 metres.

Los Andes is an area with a high altitude within Nariño Department, characterized by a cool climate and strong sunlight. It is known as a production area where the grapes take longer to ripen, resulting in a more intense aroma and flavor.
This farm primarily produces micro lots, and the lot we are introducing today is one of them. The importer was only able to purchase 210 kg, which is the entire Geisha production from the late harvest, making it a very limited micro lot.

The cherries are fermented aerobically for 42 hours before being semi-washed. Both the fermentation and drying processes are carefully managed, resulting in a wine that fully expresses the characteristics of the variety.
