ETHIOPIA | Gesha Village Oma

It has a refreshing, sparkling aroma and an elegant flavor, reminiscent of champagne. It has a thick sweetness reminiscent of white peach and a bright citrus acidity. It is an elegant coffee worthy of a rare lot, with a very clean aftertaste.
The length of the finish is excellent, and the complex flavor is unique to this coffee. Please enjoy a cup of this top-notch Geisha coffee.

Helu and Adam returned to Ethiopia to find the right land to launch their coffee venture, Gesha. For months they searched relentlessly for the perfect spot - high altitude, high rainfall, and a warm climate - the natural factors essential to producing superior quality coffee.
Finally, they found it in BenchMaji. The untouched landscape gave them a unique opportunity to build their dream coffee farm from scratch, but it was like no other: it was located extremely close to the Gori Geisha Forest, the birthplace of the varietal where Panama Geisha was discovered in the 1930s.
They immediately got to work, harvesting seeds of wild Gesha varieties from the Gori Gesha Forest. With this precious stock in hand, we worked tirelessly over the years to transform the remote land into a working coffee farm producing the best Gesha coffee in the world.

Gesha Village Farm is divided into 8 blocks based on microclimate and variety. The 1,000 acre coffee estate has been transforming this remote land into a dream coffee farm since 2011, cultivating the world's best Gesha coffee just a few kilometers from the variety's birthplace in Ethiopia's Gori Gesha Forest.
Gesha Village's goal is to be the most environmentally friendly farm producing the finest coffee in Ethiopia, with an uncompromising commitment to quality at every stage of cultivation and processing, and the utmost dedication to our employees and customers.
▪️About refining
The coffee cherries are floated on water and any light ones that float are removed. The intact cherries are laid in a thin layer and dried in the sun on African beds. Parabolic plastic covers are used at night to increase air flow to the coffee. Total drying time is 18-30 days.
