BOLIVIA | Finca Isabel Geisha

It has a rich flavor reminiscent of grapes and a tropical flavor like lychee. It also has a juicy sweetness reminiscent of plums and a refreshing acidity like orange. It also has an impression similar to white wine, and you can enjoy the complex changes in flavor depending on the temperature. It has an elegant and transparent flavor and a long-lasting aftertaste, typical of the top Geisha variety, and a smooth and pleasant mouthfeel like milk chocolate.

■ FLAVOR COMMENT
Grape, lychee, plum, milk chocolate

■ INFORMATION
The owner of this farm, Fernando, used his experience working at Panama's most famous Esmeralda Farm to return to his hometown, where he bought a small plot of land and started a coffee farm. He is also a producer who won first place in the Presidential Cup competition held in the country, and when he won in 2021, his coffee was sold for approximately 37,000 yen/kg, producing coffee of excellent quality.
This farm, which started in 2015, is divided into several plots, each named after Rosario (the hut) or Naranja (the orange). It's like a Burgundy vineyard. And the coffee grown there is of amazingly high quality, but in surprisingly limited quantities. The couple grows and exports their coffee with the utmost care. The Geisha we're using this time was brought from CATIE (Agricultural Research Institute) in Costa Rica, and is a pure Geisha close to the original Ethiopian variety.
